TEHRAN – Director Sanaz Bayan plans to stage a reading performance of Irish playwright Martin McDonagh’s “The Pillowman” at Tehran’s Charsu Cineplex on May 21 to raise funds for children suffering from cancer.

The performance will be held by a cast composed of Sajjad Afsharian, Vahid Aqapur, Amin Tabatabai, Hooman Kiai, and Ayeh Kianpur.

“The Pillowman” tells the story of a writer who is interrogated about her short stories and their similarities to a number of child murders occurring in his town.
